Summer Book Club

Adventure.  Excitement.  Intrigue.  Mystery.  Drama.  Escape in a book this summer with the Camp Hiawatha Summer Book Club!  With age-appropriate reading lists and activities, your child is sure to find something he or she likes to read, and keep reading!  

 

Campers can be a part of the Book Club either during or after camp hours, at no extra cost to you.  Let us motivate your child to fall in love with reading, or encourage an already developed reader to discover new and exciting titles and activities that revolve around their reading accomplishments. 

Camp Hiawatha does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin or ethnic origin. 

Book Club Levels

Hikers: Young or inexperienced readers

Travelers:  Readers of books with equal amounts of pictures and words

Adventurers: Readers who are comfortable with books without pictures

Challengers: More mature readers; usually 7th grade and above

Thrill-Seekers: Very experienced readers; enjoy reading classics and books at an adult level of difficulty
